Denny Island
A view across the mud and sand flats of the severn estuary towards the rocky outcrop of Denny Island. Denny Island is 0.24 hectares (0.6 acres) in size, has scrub vegetation and is situated approximately three miles north of Portishead. Its foreshore marks the boundary between England and Wales. However, it is designated as part of Monmouthshire in Wales.
