SK1775 : Cressbrook Dale, looking north

Cressbrook Dale, looking north
Cressbrook Dale, looking north
A public footpath runs along the bottom of this steep-sided valley, though now also the hillsides are access land. The livestock on the slopes at the time consisted largely of sheep plus a few cattle, although they seem to have evaded this photo. The dale is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and part of the Derbyshire Dales National Nature Reserve
