The Needle's Eye, Wentworth
The Needle's Eye, Wentworth
The Needle was built sometime between 1730-1745. Legend has it that the 2nd Marquis of Rockingham built it to win a bet that he could drive a galloping coach and horses through the eye of a needle. It sits on the prominent ridge running between Wentworth and Brampton.
