This pyramid is set between a cemetery and Stirling Castle. While I was unable to find anything on it that explains what it is or what it represents, the Star Pyramid commemorates all those who were martyred seeking religious freedom. A local eccentric is said to be interned inside the pyramid, seated at a feasting table. (Thanks to tuppence for the information)
