The days work done, one of the maintenance vessels returns to Barrow in Furness from the Walney wind farm. At the time of the photograph there were three other craft out there, two of which can be seen in the far distance. There are thirty turbines in total making up the wind farm with a combined output of 90 megawatts when all are on stream. LinkExternal link
