The Clock Tower / Water Tower with the Temenos sculpture behind it.The tower held the water tanks used to operate the lock gates and only has three clocks. One face is blank to prevent workers from "clock watching." Football ground (Place of local worship) in background.
Temenos

Temenos is a 110m long by 50m high sculpture designed by Turner prize winner Anish Kapoor as part of Middlesbrough's Middlehaven Docks rejuvenation. It is costing £2.7 million and is one of five sculptures in the Tees Valley. With a total price tag of £15m this is the world's biggest public art project.

River Tees

The River Tees is a major river in Northern England. It rises in the Pennines on Cross Fell and flows 85 miles eastwards to its mouth at Redcar.
