SO9116 : A417 east of Gloucester

A417 east of Gloucester
The A417 is part of the strategic north-south route through this part of England. In this foreshortened view the curve in the road has been exaggerated. This stretch of dual-carriageway now has to climb the steep scarp face I've always called Birdlip Hill before reaching a roundabout at the Air Balloon pub. Since submitting this image I've been informed by Jonathan Billinger that the buildings at the top are used as turkey sheds. The only poultry farm in the vicinity is Alexander and Angell (Farms) Ltd; they also raise pigs.
