Gates and Gatepiers - Church Street, Malpas
These wrought iron gates were made for Oulton Park probably in the 1720's at the time of Vanbrugh's work there. The Churchwarden's Accounts record that they were removed to the church at Malpas, and installed in the southeast corner of the churchyard in 1773. The piers and the steps leading to the street below, also date from this time. It is Grade II* Listed.
