The "new" Walton Bridge
The "new" Walton Bridge
The old Walton bridge is shown in TQ0966 : Walton Bridge, 1980 (photographed by Dr Neil Clifton). It was closed to traffic in 1954 and a "temporary" bridge was built that was used until 1999 when a second temporary bridge was built - see TQ0966 : Walton Bridge (photographed by Oliver White). The other side of that bridge is shown in TQ0966 : Walton Bridge (photographed by Philip Halling). Construction of the new bridge is shown in three photos by Ian Capper Link . Usually, the grass is green - see TQ0966 : Walton-On-Thames bridge (photographed by Alan Hunt).
