SJ2714 : Two long distance paths

Two long distance paths
Which path are we on? A section of the Offas Dyke path north of Pool Quay is also a section of the Severn Way. The two follow the same route for about three miles. However, this is looking south along Offas Dyke path (ultimate destination Chepstow) whereas it is looking upstream on the River Severn so Chepstow is behind us. Confusing?
Just to say that the prominent hill is Moel y Golfa, southern extremity of the Breiddennau.
