SE5951 : The Yorkshire Wheel
near to York, Great Britain

The Yorkshire Wheel
The wheel is sited within the National Railway Museum. Construction started in March 2006 and the wheel opened to the public on April 12.
The structure cost £3 million to build and is 54m high, with 54 climate-controlled pods each holding up to eight people at a time.
I thought you might just get one trip around but in fact it went round 5 times, giving you plenty of views of York and environs.
