Cliffs south of Aberystwyth at sunset
The Allt Wen cliffs are located on the Cardigan bay coast just south of the town
and the Ystwyth estuary. The square is about two thirds at sea. The river is diverted northwards parallel to the coast, creating a large area of pasture in NE and the adjacent squares. The south of the square is higher ground (up to 130m) with grassland and rocky cliffs towards the sea.
