Looking south on Weavers' Way past Clippesby Mill
The view onto the River Bure (at right) is obscured by reeds. Clippesby Mill can be seen in mid-distance. Clippesby drainage mill was built during the mid 19th century. It has a four-storey tapering brick tower with a timber weatherboarded boat shaped cap and petticoat, and an intact fan cradle. The mill was for some time in the past used for accommodation during the summer months but this seems to no longer be the case.
