Cabbal Dreem Ruy (or Ballayelse Keeill)
Cabbal Dreem Ruy (or Ballayelse Keeill)
'Chapel of the Red Ridge'. Set some 160m above sea level, this site is just below the moorland and is just south of Cringle Reservoir. A public footpath runs nearby. Back in 1878 the walls were described as being 6 feet high, but by 1930 the chapel (cabbal) was "reduced to the foundations only".
