Stickle Down
Stickle Down
This picture, taken from Chobham Ridges through the impenetrable boundary fence of the Range Danger Area (see SU9159), shows the whole of square SU9258. In the centre of the picture is the butt of Bisley's Stickledown Range, at up to 1200 yards its longest. The target positions can be seen (from this distance) as a row of white dots along the top of the butt. The buildings in the left far distance mark the town of Woking.
