TA1759 : Coast at Barmston

taken 18 years ago, near to Barmston, East Riding of Yorkshire, England

Coast at Barmston
Coast at Barmston
The 1940s map has this location about 300m inland, such is the erosion on this part of the coast. There are some hard defences at Barmston and the increased erosion just to the south (downstream of the long shore drift) can be seen.
