The remains of Horsburgh Castle
A prominent landmark on the A72 Peebles to Galashiels road, this little tower house, also known as Over Horsburgh, was probably built around 1600. Only a fragment of the three or four storeys L-plan tower survives. (Source: Pevsner Architectural Guide, The Buildings of Scotland - Borders).
