TQ4023 : The Golden Arrow on the Bluebell Railway
near to Fletching, East Sussex, Great Britain

The Golden Arrow on the Bluebell Railway
Once the luxury pullman train of the Southern Railway on the London/Dover leg of London to Paris run (the French side being taken on by the "Flèche d’Or"), the Golden Arrow now adorns the Bluebell Railway in East Sussex. The train saw service from 1929 to 1972 with an obvious break for WWII.
It is still possible to dine aboard the Pullman Luxury Dining Carriages as it travels up and down the line, as indeed I did for my 40th birthday, a few years back now. A real treat. Views of these fantastic carriages can be found at the Bluebell Railway website Link
