Grange Court Junction
Grange Court Junction
The site of Grange Court Junction Station, looking towards Gloucester. All that remains is the station master's house and the toilet block on the old down platform! The track on the left, now the up goods loop, is on the formation of the former branch from Hereford Rotherwas Junction. The line to the right of the picture is the main ex-GWR line from South Wales. The station closed to passengers at the same time as the withdrawal of passenger services on the branch on 31st October 1964. Goods services continued as far as Ross on Wye and Lydrook junction for another couple of years before the line was removed.
