Worcestershire energy from waste plant
Worcestershire energy from waste plant
On Hartlebury Trading Estate. Operated by Mercia Waste Management and badged as the EnviRecover facility. The facility handles up to 200,000 tonnes per annum of waste from Worcestershire and Herefordshire and generates up to 15.5 MW of electricity. The plant cost an estimated £165 million to develop. It has been operational since 2017 and seems to be a well kept secret - I doubt most people in Worcester would know it exists.
