The field is on the other side of the lane past SX8765 : Windmill at North Whilborough - South Devon, and so boasts a good hilltop view over squares to the east. The hillside above the hedge, which is east of South Whilborough, can be recognised from SX8766 : Valley below South Whilborough. In the distance are the northern suburbs of Torquay.
