Flood Defences, River Tay near Dalguise
Flood Defences, River Tay near Dalguise
Taken just after the Jan 2005 floods, this shows the power of the Tay in a temper. The Victorian embankments have been rebuilt a few times, the last time, as can be seen, incorporating a concrete core to help support the bank. As can be seen, nature won.
