Ringdoo Point is at the East end of the long sandy beach which stretches from Sandhead to Glenluce & County Golf Course and the mouth of the river Luce. The coarse scrubland, beach grasses and dunes to the West are the former bombing range of Torrs Warren owned by the MOD.
