taken 5 years ago, near to Matlock Bath, Derbyshire, England

Water Chute, Heights of Abraham
Water Chute, Heights of Abraham
In the past, lead ore was mined on these steep hillsides. Water was then used to clean and prepare the lead ore hauled out of the mines. This water chute recreates how the collection of the water looked like.
