NT0276 : Nancy's Hill

taken 13 years ago, near to Kingscavil, West Lothian, Great Britain

Nancy's Hill.
Nancy's Hill.
Long southerly view across the square from its northern edge near the Union Canal. There are rooks feeding on the stubble. Stubble fields give rich pickings to birds during the winter, the rise in poplarity of sowing crops in the autumn is a possible cause of population decline in farmland birds.
The skyline beyond the old A9,is Nancy's Hill, it is quarried in places.
