The Grade II listed building LinkExternal link was built in 1875 as a Wesleyan Methodist Capel. In 1980, the main Church building was sold and worship continued in the converted Church hall SJ7991 : Trinity Methodist Church. For some years the old chapel was used as an auction house but it is now let as serviced offices. A bee has been carved by Karl Macauley on a tree in the corner of the grounds SJ7991 : Bee Carving on Northenden Road.
