The Old Coach House, Chapel Street
This building, now occupied by Design For Wood, was the coach house and dovecote to the Dower House which belonged to the Bell family before the brought the Thirsk Estate in 1723. The Dower House is now The Three Tuns which fronts the market square. Chapel Street, off to the right, is shown as Back Lane on a Victorian OS maps of 1856.
