Taken from the verge of the A352 which skirts the south-eastern corner of the square. There are no footpaths within the square, and only 200 metres of public road. The fields around North Fossil Farm appear to be given to grazing, and pig huts can be seen. The farm is one of a trio of Fossil Farms suggesting a rich source of fossils in the area.
