Broomlee Lough
Broomlee Lough
Broomlee Lough is a natural lake on Ridley Common just to the north of Hadrian's Wall and the Whin Sill Link . The alignment of the far shore with the view direction gives the impression that the lough is tilting to the west. It is fed by local streams and springs, and it drains through Jenkins Burn towards Greenlee Lough a mile or so further west.
