Ruins of Kingsett Farm
Ruins of Kingsett Farm
There was a farm on this site in the Newleycombe Valley from the 14th century. This farm was abandoned early in the 20th century, due to the Plymouth Corporation decreeing that no livestock farming would be allowed in the catchment area of Burator Reservoir, which they had constructed by damming the valley of the River Meavy.
