Torside Castle
It is believed in some quarters that this mound is a Bronze Age earthworks or maybe Roman in origin but others think it is a natural feature. You have to bear in mind that in Bronze Age times 3000 years ago this area would have been very different, trees would have covered the land and it may have been a reasonable place for a settlement.
