Intake, Loch Mhor
This is the intake structure on Loch Mhor for the Foyers pumped-storage hydro-electric scheme. The actual intake is completely submerged as it has to also act as an outlet when water is pumped back up to the Loch from Foyers at times of low demand. The building itself contains heavy steel gates to close off the intake for maintenance.
