Turbine Tower Construction
Construction of the first of 26 turbine towers for the Scoutmoor Wind Farm got underway on Friday 19th November 2007.
These towers are huge at 60 metres high when complete to put it into perspective look at the size of the white transit van to the left of the picture!
On the day the picture was taken a 22 metre section had yet to be added.
