The tall sculpture in front of Castell farmhouse represents a man, so the guide informs, clinging to the edifice of time. It is made of a bow-shaped limb of yew wood which acts as the soundbox of a stringed instrument that will resonate in the wind.
Waveney Valley Sculpture Trail (2 Aug - 19 Sept 2019)

This is the 6th Waveney Valley Sculpture Trail organised by Waveney & Blyth Arts, a not-for-profit organisation established and run by local people on a voluntary basis. For the third year it was held on the site of the Raveningham Centre, where the works of art are displayed on three acres of gardens and meadows of what used to be Castell Farm > Link. This year's theme was 'The Woven Woodland' with artforms including film, carving, weaving, stained glass and welding, with more than 50 artists exhibiting in the gardens, the gallery and in the café.

Castell Farm no longer exists, and all its buildings have been converted into commercial units and a café > Link - Link.
