The Beaulieu River at low tide, New Forest
This is the tidal limit of the Beaulieu River at low tide, separated from the freshwater part of the river by the sluice gates under the B3054 bridge. A little further down the river, at Bucklers Hard, many warships were built using timber from the Forest.
