The eastern slopes of Ben Eighe, rising to Creag Dhubh
This photo was taken on the ascent of Ben Eighe's eastern top of Creag Dhubh at 11:34 on 15th June, 2004. The grassy slopes leading up from Kinlochewe are beginning to give way to shattered quartzite rocks. Creag Dhubh summit lies directly ahead and is best approached by contouring around left to climb its eastern ridge. A deer fence crosses this sector, preventing them from damaging the new plantations further down the slopes.
