NO4500 : FCP bridge

3 km from Earlsferry, Fife, Great Britain

FCP bridge
FCP bridge
This is the second of two bridges, from the Shell Bay side, that take the Fife Coastal Path ( FCP ) across the tidal flats at the mouth of the Cocklemill Burn.

Originally the track crossed higher up the burn but it took walkers away from the sea and into modern conifer forest. To date these bridges are not yet marked on OS maps which still show the more inland route.
