SU7142 : Byway near the Golden Pot

Byway near the Golden Pot
Just in front of the fence runs a byway, beloved of those who prefer to explore the countryside in four-wheel drive vehicles. The small pool was deepened by churning tyres and litter became a persistent problem. A year or so back, the decaying tree trunk was placed in the water to dissuade motorised access. The ploy has largely worked, with vehicles tending to keep to the byway, though litter remains an occasional problem.
