Y Garth - cartref/ home of Elizabeth Watkin-Jones on Rhodfa'r Mor
Elizabeth Watkin-Jones (1887-1966), a Nefyn ship captain's daughter (her father, Harry Parry, drowned at the port of Iquique on the edge of the Atacama when she was a baby), was the leading Welsh language author for teenagers of my generation. Her historical novels were set in the Nefyn area. A memorial plaque is fixed to the wall of the house.
