'Tis the season to be brolly

Recently it has rained and rained. And rained and rained, then rained some more. My dad, who worked on farms all his life, says he has never known a wetter period. So today setting off to Oxfordshire I expected to see some of the wet stuff, but mercifully it stayed dry ALl day!
