Dipping Limestone , Dudley, Worcestershire
The dip of around 45 degrees here has resulted in exposed slabs of Wenlock limestone cropping out here in the old Wren's Nest quarry workings. Closer examination of the surface reveals a particularly distinctive feature known as "ripple beds". Climbing is not allowed here because of damaging scientifically interesting details.
