Lewis's department store on The Headrow was a familiar place for Leeds shoppers from 1932 onwards.

The store became Allders in 1996, and closed in 2005. It is now being redeveloped as smaller stores, offices etc.

This is a view of the rear of the building, above Mark Street, taken from the top of the car park above the St John's Centre.
