SD9975 : Stile by Black Dike Hole
4 km from Kettlewell, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Stile by Black Dike Hole
This stile stands on the footpath that climbs from the road between Kettlewell and Coverdale up to the summit of Great Whernside. On this cold December day the valley was filled with a thick bank of fog, but at this height (619m)there was a clear blue sky. The top of the Buckden Pike ridge can just be seen in the background.
