Sand Dunes, West Beach
Sand Dunes, West Beach
In medieval times this would have been the western part of the Arun estuary which was recut in the late 18th century. One of the consequences was the build up of dunes which still exist precariously today. These are the western portion and are currently fenced off to give them some protection.
