Cudlow Barn
Cudlow Barn
The barn is that in the distance and is the only remaining reference to a former village and parish that once existed to the south of Atherington. Cudlow was a small haven on the western side of the Arun estuary in the 13th and 14th centuries but fell victim to the encroahments of the sea and the last recorded inhabitant was in 1620.
