Northwestern slopes of Bowscale Fell
Northwestern slopes of Bowscale Fell
Long Gill enters the picture from the right creating the vaguely discernible valley on this flank of the fell. Short Gill comes in from the left and is evident from the shadowy horizontal strip on that side of the photo. Coomb Height, a ridge of Knott, is across the Caldew valley, with Wet Swine Gill visible on its flank. High Pike rises in the background to the right, its summit being just out of shot.
