The Churnet Valley Railway hosted a Superpower Weekend with four trains/day and no less than 3 US built S160 2-8-0 freight engines. This is the rear of the second train with one on the front and two on the back. The third train had two on the front and one on the back and the last train of the day was triple-headed with two diesels on the rear. Those were the formations on the out-leg to Ipstones but were reversed on the return as there was no running round at Ipstones.
