Jenkinsons Farm, The Nook, Bolton le Sands
This is named after Richard Jenkinson, who lived here in the 18th century. The cottage which nestles just behind the farmhouse it is thought to be the original farmhouse, built in the 16th century. In one of the bedrooms, the middle one at the front, there was a Martyrs' Altar which is now located at Fernyhalgh near Preston.
