Shipley station (3)
A diesel multiple-unit pulls in to Platform 2 at Shipley, on a service from Keighley to Bradford. As can be seen, Platform 1 is disused, with no track in position. These lines were, during the mid-1980s, at a low ebb, but electrification at the end of the decade produced a large increase in traffic, and the missing track was re-instated. Now, in 2007, the main problem is overcrowding!
