Iron Bridge, Culford
Iron Bridge, Culford
Culford Lake is crossed by the Grade 1 listed Iron Bridge. It was designed by Samuel Wyatt in about 1803 for the second Marquis Cornwallis, and has granite abutments, stone balustrades and marble urns. The bridge is of exceptional interest as one of the earliest bridges with an unmodified cast-iron structure to survive.
